Thanks everyone! I like the upright exhaust I do prefer this rather than under the foot board. My grandpa restored it in 2003 but didn't rebuild the engine and this summer I put new rings in and 1 new sleeve. Thanks again for all the help that was provided here it feel great to have this running again I just wish my grandpa was here to see it he would be proud

ood job!glad to see you got the ole' girl runnin'.

That's quite an accomplishment! Might I suggest you consider adding a front bumper? Maybe it's just me, but my TO-30 had a bumper on it when I bought it, now, those that don't have one look naked to me. (Besides the fact it can save a grill, radiator, etc, etc.)

Not to be a pill....but all you need is one low tree branch with that pipe. Bent the crap out of a 460 pipe many years ago. Took a tourch and got it preaty straight.

What's that gismo attached to the air breather? I can't tell, what N series is yours? I have the younger sister, Jubilee.

Thanks everyone George that is a cyclone precleaner and its an 8n. I do have to be careful about that muffler. I'm not sure where the bumper is its probably around here somewhere just gotta find it

hat about every other tractor with the muffler straight up? It's not a foreign idea,I wouldn't want a tractor with an under-slung muffler, changed my 540 too.
