OT: Round Up resistant Water Hemp

Anyone dealing with this yet. Never had hemp let alone RR hemp until this year. Not sure were it came from, birds? Only chemical that will phase it is Cobra and with the beans this tall it would burn them bad too. So far its only in one twenty acre field and we are pulling it by hand. Back to the good old days for sure!

That's why I don't normally No-Till my crops. I still like to cultivate, & not for the fun of it! Roundup every year is a major problem for the future.

The most likely vector for you to get RR water hemp is from your soybean seed supplier especially if you never had it in the past.

Another vector is through manure. Did you have someone spread manure from a chicken operation or similar?
