Old grain truck bed.

We have a 65 Chevy 60 series with a grain body on it, I'd like to still use it to haul grain while preserving the old paint and pinstriping on the outside. The problem is there are a few cracks and holes in the sides, have any of you lined the inside with plywood or something else before?

I use latex caulk form a calking gun for small 'cracks'.For larger ones, use 'Great Stuff" expandable foam.Do this on the inside to make 'invisable'.paint the 'repairs' as sunlight/wheather tends to breakdown the stuff rather quickly

I've seen patches using pieces from cutting up tin cans. Low cost; low tech. Use nails or small screws.
