Today we had to have our faithful border collie put down. She had balder cancer. When this started a year or so ago the vet said we could do radiation treatment. I didn't want to put her through that. I could tell she was starting to be in some pain, she would awake from sleeping with a yelp, then go back to sleep. She would wet her self when sleeping. She just wasn't the same dog anymore. We had 12 years of her loving company. She is buried out back with our other pets we have had over the years. When we get these animals we know there is a limited amount of years they will be around, but we think they will go on forever. As I get older it is getting harder to part with a pet be it a dog, or cat. Our border collie mix was rescued from being put down as a puppy. It helps me to know we gave our dog the best care and shelter we could all her days. RIP Flag you will be missed. Stan
