So I am pulling a brush hog and the tractor starts slowing down. RPMs begin dropping, won"t speed up. runs like this for about ten minuets, then dies all together. Tried starting it again, it fires, then dies. I call the local Case Dist, and they say possibly the fuel/water separator filters. I pick up two and replace them. Same thing, fires and dies. I pull the main fuel line off the primary filter,,, no fuel leaking out,,, BTW, FULL TANK. HELP!!!!

Trash or rust in the tank maybe. You should have free fuel flow, disconnect the line near the injection pump, you should have a free flow of fuel. if not check the line back to the tank. you can blow it out with compressed air and then check fuel flow again. if you get free flowing fuel after blowing it out, I would suspect something in the tank.
Could be rust, grass clippings, or dirt clogging the fuel lines.

I think Andy is probably right. Blocked fuel line This is a typical IH thing with the fuel tank mounted between the fenders and the outlet been in the very bottom of the tapered tank. crud has no where to go but straight into the fuel lines. The 674 we had used to do the same thing. Our neighbour had 3 and he used to complain about it too.

Hi William, you did the correct thing by pulling the main fuel line off at the primary filter. Fuel should flow at the full of the line. If you have compressed air, you can blow back the main fuel line to the tank and that will give you a quick fix. Only solution is to drain both sides of the saddle tank and remove the outlet out of the bottom of the tank.
My brother had the remains of a lady bug in his 684 fuel tank causing the same problem.
