Not much, I own a Hesston round baler and it is a pretty good baler but these days there are a lot better so the Hesston round balers don't have a lot of resale. The worst thing about them that they never seemed to get right is the hay has to be powder dry or you will work yourself half to death unclogging the throat, probably a lot less problems if you live in a dry part of the country. They are well built machines and hold up good but the reason you see so many with low bale counts is because they are so finicky. To my thinking, $4000.00 would be top dollar for a mid to late 90's low bale count 540 with twine, auto tie, good belts and in good overall shape.

LAA if you will take out the "short hay bar" it will not clog nearly as much. I have a 530 and I do agree they will sometime clog frequently. I took that bar out, made sure the pickup teeth were not broken, and almost never clog it now.
