the saginaw steering unit on my oliver 2150 has stripped the splines completely off the unit and the column. again. we repaired it 3 years ago with used parts that were difficult to find then. we have found a charlynn conversion for $1400. that seems a little excessive.
has anyone done mods on a saginaw unit to make it work longer? or put a different unit altogether in one? thanks for any ideas.
