Will it fit

I asked down on the Massey forum, but haven't gotten a response yet, so I thought I'd ask up here. Will a steer gear box off a 165 Massey fit on a 175 Massey. I know they look the same but I'm not sure. Anybody got an answer? Thanks, guys, Keith

Agco parts site I checked shows 165 box is 505 387 M91, for reference only, order individual parts as needed. 175 site has no assembly number for the same box, so not sure. They do look the same.

I agree with Dieseltech's post, however one line below the item he mentioned is listed a "housing assembly". I assume that is the box complete with "innards".

The part number is 1026253M91 , and is shared by both models.

i don't have a clue, but i agree with your logic. i have asked questions in Massey Ferguson before and after a day or two, decided to ask around where folks hang out more often. just saying.
