Just got back from the doc. It was a cancerous mass about the size of a mushed down grapefruit. Doc says it caused by the cancerous uterus they removed last year. Wasn't attached to anything, just floating in there above the bladder. Now we go back in three weeks to see how she's healing up and when she is stronger in two-three months, another ct scan and six months of chemo. He said there was a five percent chance of this and she fell into the five percent.

Sorry to hear that. Push the doctors for all options not just chemo. Mom had a tumor on her ovary and had everything removed. Said she was cancer free. 6 months later cancer is back. Three years and four rounds of chemo with no quality of life due to chemo, she passed weekend after thanksgiving. Seriously weigh out the pros and cons of chemo. There are other alternatives. Good luck and our prayers are with you guys

I was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in December of 2012. With no treatment, I was given 3-4 months with all the chemo etc, MAYBE 8 or 9. I'm here to say that the prayers of my friends have been effective at 20 months now. I still follow this site once or twice a day and go to the shop and admire my 1977 2440 John Deere!
