Wheats done

Finished the wheat last night. Thankfully we missed out on the rain Tuesday night Wednesday morning.

Just have to take in the last load later after the wife visits the dr for her one week follow up. We find out if it's cancer today.

When I was over there Monday morning,there were combines rolling at 10:30 AM already. Looked to be 80% done by then along 57.

Just talked to my nephew in ND; grain crop is heavy and green. He thinks it will be a month yet before he can start cutting, due to the late planting season last spring.

It has been so wet,I could tell right where the tile lines where. The wheat was thicker and taller over them. Also where the disk had ridged the dirt. I found one place water was still in an old wheel track. Grain moisture ran 13.6to 14.3

Finished combining Saturday, finished baling straw today. Moisture 17%, test weight not so good, 54#. Glad it's done.
