Reminds me that I have an old M with bad engine that I always thought it would be fun to install a old (1960+) GM v-6 as they were a heavy built engine. But, alas, will probably never happen unless someone comes along and volunteers for the job.

I love it! My dads dad bought a new F-12 during the depression, (I don't know what year) and dad and his brothers always called the F12 "The gutless wonder". Boy, they could not say that about this one!

Cool! I like the "Free" motor part. That's how I re-powered my haybine, with a v6 I had laying around from a Camaro. Also like the tie down job on the trailer; about the same thing I do.

Not sure in all the years you ever posted about this one, recent or just a sleeper tucked away LOL ?

I can't decide which of the 2 that have your ingenuity applied you have showed us(the other being the reversed one with the high lift) that I like best, just goes to show with enough time and effort... maybe a few dollars or not, must have been something when you first completed it, and was able to run it the first time, always the pinnacle of the build!

Sorry, but right now the only engine I have is in a running GMC 4000 that I still use. Had a chance to buy a complete engine about 15 years ago but didn't actively pursue the deal and it slipped away.

It's been about a 3 year project...This winter I concentrated and finished it!A lot of fun to build and some 'head scratchin',too!Kind of a low budjet deal....

It's ok for short durations. But the temps will slowly rise to boiling.Still working on the fan part.......

If you have twelve volts on it, you could get one of those electric car radiator fans. Looks like it would fit right in there.

Grandfather bought this new one in 1937. Dad said it was way better than a pair of mules. This one could use another engine and a better set of wheels.
