Placement of decal for tire pressure on model 730 JD

I am just finishing up the restore on my model 730 John Deere Row Crop Diesel tractor and can't find where to place the tire pressure decal that came with the decal set that I purchased. Does anyone out there know where this decal is supposed to be located on this tractor? I am all set with the location for the remainder of these decals. Thank you!

Don't know if it is right, but mine in on the left side of the battery box below the seat. This is on a 730LP but shouldn't be any different on any 730, I would think.

Never seen such decal. As was mentioned would be an appropriate place.I was thinking on the dash, somewhere down by the light, starter switch, starter button.

Is it possible that it goes on a different model? I know some decal sets fit multiple models and not all decals are for one model.

Take a look out the photo below of the [i:654c4848f0]TIRE INFLATION PRESSURES[/i:654c4848f0] decal on "1011" one of our 1953 Model 70s.

We bought this tractor from the grandson of the original owner.

Hope this helps.

That looks about perfect. Then put the "Be Careful/Use Caution" Decal right below(or just above).BTW Forget the 'correct police'! All those guys do is cause trouble and make folks feel bad.....As long as its well done with good attn to detail,Good enough!

The decal is probably where it was applied at the factory.

Not too concerned about the "correct police"; our farm is outside of their jurisdiction.

Has it occurred to anybody that back when the tractor was built, people at the factory may have put the decals in any of several places? As per the preference of the day shift guy versus the night shift guy?
In reality, there may actually NOT be a single "correct" place for the decal.
Sometimes in restorations, there may be too much emphasis on precision in things like position of decals, paint overspray, etc.

Steve, the "Be Careful" decal goes on the rear of the battery box, either centered or lower center, depending on the year. I don't flash a badge for the Correct Police. I prefer to work undercover..:) Mike

David, thank you for your reply about where the decal is on your 730LP I think I will go with that location it sounds like a good place to place it. I noticed that not all of the decals seem to get used in some restorations, but since this probably will be my only restoration I wanted it to be correct as possible! Thank you again!

anyone have the operators manual, it might be in one of the photos , keep in mind some of the photos could be pre-production shots. Bill
