I almost throw up when I hear something like that.
A few years ago I was driving down the road and saw a tractor in the edge of a field. As I got closer, I could see a man"s lower half sticking out from under a bush hog. I almost stopped and a little way down the road, I turned around and went back, afraid of what I might find, yet not wanting to leave him there if that were the case. When I got within sight, he was back on the tractor and running. Needless to say, I breathes a great sigh of relief.

Same thing happened to me only it was an elderly neighbor laying under his lawn mower. He was laying under there when I went by and a half hour later when I came back past his place he was still laying there and he was laying limp on his back so I turned around and checked up on him. He was trying to fix something that never would be right so I ended up laying under there myself, removing the piece, taking it home and welding it and putting it back on for him. JIm

i have no idea what this post is about, but from i gather, someone was in possible danger and somebody went to see iffin they could check out their curiosity and possibly help ? i know from taking driver test in kansas and california, that if you see an accident or result of one, if there is something you can do with out getting hurt yourself, you are required to stop and help if you can. this was before cell phones and 911. who knows, maybe the laws have changed, maybe the incentive is to get it posted to utube before someone else does, now a daze. iffin ya do get the urge to post and all, would you at least do it ba-fer ya start driven again ? im getting tired of trying to figger out iffin if i should be ready to dodge you or not. just saying

Agreed, BUT...

Being an Officer "of the Law", he will NOT be charged with anything. (Happens all the time around here..).

A friend that deals used equipment won't handle brush hogs. Sold one to a guy who did the same thing, 9N even, and dropped his toddler son off the tractor. Friend ended up paying a bunch of money as well as the manufacturer (of a used brush hog) because it didn't have chains dangling across the front and warning stickers on it. Like either would have made a difference.

I've found that turning a corner and spotting the Steiger suspended between an upside-down grain cart and the nose sitting on a road bank will make things try crawling up your throat as well.

A few years ago one morning I was driving by the house of an older gent that I rented some pasture from. He had a line of hedges going from his side porch door the driveway, and I could see his legs sticking out from the line of hedges. Stopped the truck in a hurry and ran to check on him. I could see right away he was breathing, and when I looked up I could see his wife standing behind the porch door looking at both of us. No concern on her face at all, just disgust. It was then I caught the smell of his breath - he'd evidently been into the cider a bit that morning...
