I recently bought a Massey Ferguson 165 and after getting it home I realized there's a grinding noise coming from the rear tire I looked and there are no obstructions that could be rubbing on the tire. I would really appreciate any help or ideas about what cold cause this. Thank You

As suggested the noise could be coming from the reduction
hub but also check the wheel nuts and the bolts securing the
wheel rim to to wheel centre, any movement there will also
create unhealthy noises.

I would jack it up and turn it over by hand, you
might be able to tell where it's coming from. Also when you jack it up check for exes bearing clearance on the axle.

When It's making that noise apply the brake lightly and see if it goes away, I had one do that, nothing wrong, just a brake chattering and making strange noises until applied. Also check the oil in the planetary.
