Got home from spending a few days with the in-laws tonight. After unloading everything from the van my wife went downstairs and yelled for me. We had a big puddle of water on the basement floor. In the process of cleaning up she slipped and fell and cracked her head on the concrete floor. Got mom and dad to come over and watch the kids while I took her to emergency room. Just a small cut and a knot on the back of her head. I had to joke that she's too hard headed to get hur t that way, truth is I was pretty worried since I would be in a world of hurt without her.

Glad it's nothing serious and that you are still here. I'd be dead cause I'd have started to look for cracks in the concrete! if it were my ball and chain!

It will be 2 weeks ago tomorrow since I fell and broke a bone in my shoulder. Still lots of swelling, but some of the bruising is just starting to change color at the top. I assume color will improve from the top down.

Glad that your wife wasn't seriously injuredl head injuries are no fun.

"a few days with the in-laws tonight" ROFLMAO
That's like saying "I spent a week in Cleveland one day".
Not funny what happened to your wife, but I sure got a kick out of that line.

Hahaha hahaha! I phrased that poorly, I should have said I got home tonight after spending a few days there. That is funny though. I figure there isn't much sense in both of us acting like there was some blunt force trauma. That still makes me chuckle Randy.

I Believe that John Denver had a song where he mentioned Toledo, Ohio, "I once spent a week there one day".

Never been there myself.
