There is a person in my area who has an Oliver 60 with a factory wide front end for sale. I have never seen a wide front 60. How rare is this? It has all the tin, and runs, but very rusty and needs all the tires replaced. What would this tractor be worth?

Is this any help? I pulled her from the archives. Chuck

You see one around every now and then. I just don't think wide front tractors of any make were real popular around here back then.
Are you going to take that one? I don't have a 60. I'd by one if the price was right and it was all there.

Yes,pretty rare.I'd buy it.I really dont know what it's worth. But,a wide front 60 (with all tin in good shape) was for sale at a local antique/consignment shop.It was priced at $5600.Sat there a LONG time. Not sure if it ever sold.

Memories. I grew up running one with on the neighbor"s farm. It had the wide front, newer version seat, and 5 speed. Cool little tractor.

They still have it and rake hay with it. Not sure what they"re worth.

cut my teeth on a 1946 RC 60 with tricycle gear. From where I am standing, they"re not worth a nickel! Dad still has it in several piles of parts and that is where it will stay. It was bought new and when parked still had the original tires on it.

A few years ago, my former son in law picked one up....think it was a "47 and it was in great shape...but useless. I think he sold it for $900. I told him he owed the buyer a refund!

They"re geared too high, only make 16-18 hp and no hydraulics. We never owned any cultivators so that mechanical lift apparatus in front of the pedals was just a foot rest to us.

Save your money.
