I hope your puker gets well soon.

When I'm home, I've started using an old desktop keyboard with my laptop. The full size keyboards is easier for me to use, they are cheap/disposable, and I can set the laptop on a small stand where it's easier for me to read it.

wow !!! i thought i would have killed it. i let it dry over night and the buttons i need seam to be working. there must be something very weird going on in the universe, i usually have the worst luck in the world.

Dang, young'un, you had me worried for a minute there. Thought it was something serious. (I know, I know, computer problems are serious, but considering what you've been through lately, well, you know.)

For any case of wet electronic devices plain old white rice is your friend. Place the item that got wet in a plastic bag and add a pound of white rice, pat as much air as you can out of the bag and seal it. Let it sit for up to 2 days the rice will draw any moisture out of the electronic device.
I have saved a few cell phones and computers this way.
Andrew.
