yes, those look like lazy trucks, shame on them, hope no one got hurt. we got a cement truck that rolled down a hill back behind us, last time we were back there the mixer and rear wheel/axles were still back there. i don't know how they will ever get the mixer out without a helicopter, that things gotta weigh a lot full of concrete. the guy didn't get hurt, was drinking coffee talking to another trucker. probably has a new profession now.

In my area the concrete companies have an agreement with locla fire departments. If they get a rollover they take a torch and cut large hole and fire department brings pumper and washes out the truck. Concrete company pays them a fee, and then cleans up the mess. A Lot cheaper than replacing or jack hammering out a drum.

I know a guy who hauls for the local quarry and gets paid by the ton. He hauls overweight and over speed. He has wrecked two trucks that I know of by by tipping them over. One was at a stop sign. I don't think that he intended to stop. Another was on a stock pile. He was in such a hurry that he backed right over the top of it. I can't understand how he can make any money with what his insurance must be. He has probably wrecked another truck recently because it just occurred to me hat I haven't seen is truck in months.

Wow! I guess things happen....Really kinda scary, isn'nt it? You can't be toooo careful. I did a dumb thing yesterday-hauling wheat to a buying station- unloaded and forgot to lower the dump body, noticed when I weighed to leave! Thankfully, I didn't snag anything or lay it over as well. Can't be TOOOO careful!
