16.5 truck rims

have a bale mover with 16.5 tires on it. Local shop says those tires are a thing of the past. I see you can still get tires online, but I was hoping for a used pair. If I can find used, ill just go to a 16 in used truck tire. Was also wondering if there is a market for the 16.5 rims.

Put them on C/L for $20 ea , see if you get a bite . Might be a guy doing a resto that needs original wheels on his Econoline or Ranger ....
At lest you won't have to drive to the scrap yard !

I bought a 76 GMC new that had 10 hundred 16.5 wheels and tires.

Years ago my Dad had a 58 GMC 2ton with 19.5 rims. Try to find those tires. Friend of mine got him a set off of a U-haul van. They all came with 19.5s at that time.

john.You didn't say what size 16.5s you have- need.Most private dealers keep 950s and 12-16.5s in stock around us or can have them within 24 Hrs.I have somewhere between 75 and 100 16.5s on the ground running all the time,because 1 10 or12-16.5 will outlast 8-10 Imp.tires.You just need a better dealer.

Guy close to me is looking for some. If you are close to western Nebraska, there must be quite a market for them.
