FORD 8N

A very good friend of mine in West Georgia has a
Ford 8N he would like to have restored. Does anyone
know of someone they would recommend. We are in the
Carrollton area.

Why doesnt your friend do it himself? An 8n is about the simplest tractor out there to restore.LOTS of parts are readily available.Enlist local 'motorheads' to help/advise.If he doesnt have the skills,thats a good place to start/learn.Have a professional body shop do the painting.

I'm in Michigan, so I can't help with local guys for you.
Depending on your definition of "restore", I agree with DeltaRed on learning
to DIY. I would paint it myself too. Make sure to use hardner in the paint.
Normally the worst that will happen is you sand out a run and paint it again.

Tell your friend to hop down to this forum for 2/9/8N's and start reading up on the machine to see what he needs to have done. Much knowledge on there.
