Anyone have any information on the tractor that is traveling across the US/

The tracking map at:

http://app.usfleettracking.com/[email protected]&pwd=UCPPKMPQ&cid=WoundedHeroes

shows that he has not moved for more than 48 hours and he has been in the Jackson Wyoming area for more than a week.

Is he having a problem?

I understood his family arrived in Jackson,Wyo from east PA this past Tuesday to spent a few vacation days together sightseeing the area. They shut down Johnabilt and used other means of transportation. He is 25 mile south of Yellowstone NP so might see some sights there. He has had to call his JD mechanic back home to find out how to adjust the carburetor so the tractor has the right air/fuel ratio to run at the altitude he is at of 6150 above sea level and going higher to 9,200. He completed that adjustment several days ago. But nothing is wrong with his rig, he is taking a vacation break from his cross country trek.

On the Wounded Warriors web site , at the top click on the "blog". Just read them and look at the photos. Ivan is having the trip of a lifetime. I drove down and met Ivan as he was traveling across Indiana, wish I could have traveled with him.

Mr. Sourgum, I did read the blog as Old-9 suggested but, I did not find anything about his adjusting the carb on the tractor for the elevation he is at.

So, I will ask, is there another source of information that carried that?

I don't know of any other info source other than his website. It amazes me that that tractor as old as it is has only needed a carb adjustment in 2000 miles travel. And that was due to thin mountain air. And well a tire rotation too. He went thru a fourth of July parade last week possibly to raise some money for the cause. I don't look for much of any movement of his rig for the next several days. Lots of folks across the country take a few days off in July.
