Wheel rake mounted on front of tractor

I'm looking at buying a V-wheel rake and was wondering if any of you guys have ever mounted it to the front of the tractor so you can make one pass raking and baling at the same time? Would like to see some pictures if you have any

I remember some time back of a video of one in Canada. Big 10 wheel mounted to loader. Thought it would work OK on big square fields but I don't have any. LOL

We have to rake a couple days before baling here to let hay dry. Guys used to use the 2 wheel rakes mounted on front of tractor to turn windrows over to help them dry

When I was a growing up the only rake we had was a front mounted wheel rake. It was made as a front mounted rake.

I have ran a 3 point with the 3 Vrake like raking wheels. Problem is when mounted on tractor back or front is you hit low or high places in field and you dig ground or miss hay.. Love my 10 wheel V rake but it runs independent from tractor frame.. Interesting thought though.. you'd have to offset if running side baler..round baler you could go straight down the middle under tractor..I do rake right before I bale so could work....
One other thing that just came to me is the v rakes work better faster.. prob faster than baler should travel..

I have a Pollard front mounted wheel rake. It dumps to the left so no good for baling and raking at same time.

The one major problem I can see for what you want to do is the rake doesn't work real well when you turn into the windrow (IE left in my case).

If you have a lift like a front 3 point so you can lift on the turns I think you could make it work pretty well just don't expect to have it work well around corners.
