my husband just almost got bit by a rattler snake, we've lived in the country for years and we know to be alert for them but they can be sneaky suckers. so just a reminder WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES just saying.

A pastor down on west Kentucky-Tennessee state line was handling rattler snake during a church gathering. Guess it is part of their rituals they follow. He had been bitten single bites several times over a period of years before-survived with one less finger. This time snake got him on the hand twice or three times at one time during a service. This happened around 8 in evening. He refused medical help as I understand He met his Maker at 10 or 10:30 that same evening. This was on interweb about six months ago,you may have seen it. This was an adult snake which always heard were deadliest.

Jennifer, I don't think one can be reminded too often. You know they're there, you know the danger, but they are sneaky little devils and there is always that one time that can get you into trouble. We had an acquaintance who was picking beans one morning and a copperhead got her on the hand. She lost use of a finger as a result.

One should not be too surprised to find most any kind of snake, anywhere..

Trafficking of dangerous snakes is an everyday thing for any person inclined to associate with other Serpent Owners/collectors.

I was working at an Elementary School football field when one fellow opened a can of very active baby rattle snakes (Diamondback) and some got out...!

There are NO restrictions on carrying/transporting any venomous snake and way too many of those people are FAR too careless with them..

Ron.
