Wisconsin throtle to a I.H. Skid steer loader 3200A

I have been working on throttle link / rods on this project of a skid steer loader 3200A. Yes I am working on a wisconsin engine. This is the one that runs to the hand lever for throttle. To the governor. To me it looks like I am missing some thing. Here is a picture of a rod and spring that I found with the engine parts. I would like to know do I have the right parts or are these the wrong parts. Thanks Brent

I"ve got several V4 Wisconsins and, best I can remember from working on them, the only thing missing in the pic is the link from the lower part of the pivot to the throttle shaft on the carb. The way it"s designed you set the spring in one of the holes on the arm of the governor to get a gross speed/range setting. From there you use the nut on the threaded end of the rod to set the specific speed within the range provided between the different holes.

On my VG-4D engine the part to the right in your pic is upside down. There is a bracket that holds the throttle cable and the cable attaches to your pivot assy. The open hole on the pivot assy. should be up. Also the spring on the governor arm is in the 4th hole from the top on mine. The top hole on the arm has a lite rod that goes to the carb.

Your right, I missed the part about the whole shebang being upside down from normal. Still I think it will work just fine either way as I have seen them run like that before too.

Too, I don't know why I mentioned the throttle rod running from the pivot to the carb given that I do know it runs from the top hole in the governor arm to the carb...DUH..........I guess even though my body got back from vacation Saturday night, my brain decided to stay there for another night....LOL

Thank you NCWayne.
I was not to sure if I had all those parts. I guess the govenor will be pulling on the spring which will work the rod tension. I do have the carburator and its link. I still have to rebuild the craburator before mounting it on.I still have to cut and make a rod for the hand throttle to the govenor link.So all that is a measure, cut and thread. To make it work with a compelet thorttle rod to engine fromthe operator seat. Thanks again Brent.
