hate to even ask,but I sure do like hearing about your farm/ homestead etc, I know you just went through a lot describing your solar power, but if you get a chance could you write a post about your area in California and your farm? I have never been anywhere near that area, sure would be nice to hear about it.

ok, i'll try to get better at documenting projects and the place and surrounding areas, i really enjoy your post with the pics of your place and what your doing and surrounding areas. it sure is beautiful where you live and it is beautiful where i live and it makes me want share it with everyone like you do. i've got a couple story's and pics to go with em, im just running low on round-tuits, i had a stash of em somewhere and now i can't seem to find em, but im sure they'll show up sooner or later. :) p.s. glad you got the good news yesterday, what a great feeling huh !!! i know i sure enjoyed when they told me i didn't have cancer :) whew!! what a scary feeling though huh. hang in there, it's going to all start getting better now. :)

You really should take before, during and after pics of your projects whether buildings, tractors or land improvements.

James and I didn't do that in the early years and regret it now. Some of the areas on the farm were in really bad shape before we cleaned them up and we don't have the pics to show the difference. Wish we did.

i know and i agree. example: i got a tractor not long ago and the first thing i did was start taking the damaged parts off of it, i wish i had taken some before pics, now all i get to share is during and after.

That is why they say hindsight is 20/20. I think we are all guilty of that. I need to purchase a new memory card for my camera so I can keep better records myself.

Jennifer,
I'd really enjoy seeing some pics of California too. I'll probably never get there in person.
