cutting cast

If it's easy to get at, a zip disc in an angle grinder would be about the cheapest way. Would take a little while but not bad with a HD 6" or 7" grinder. Wouldn't attempt it with a smaller grinder.
 
I've cut through a 2" thick section of a junk transmission housing with a sawzall and a coarse wood blade and I ran it slow.

Cast iron is easy to cut.
