I agree.

Anything which has hydraulic brakes should have air brakes! A tiny air compressor, plastic lines which don't corrode, and wheel cylinders which don't leak fluid all into the brakes.
And further- as simple as the air suspension system is on my truck, why shouldn't all vehicles be equipped that way?

BTDT  I now just blocked off the ports and dead head it and it works great... I brought a BG brake bleeding machine I love it and best of all it makes $$$....

I have air brakes on my 1955 Ford F-800 platform dump truck, since I gave up my CDL-A licence I can not legally drive it on the road. It doesn't leave the property anymore but without the air brake endorsement the cops make money. I like them too, simple and easy, don't know why the government requires the extra endorsement.

Funny thing is , in SC, with no CDL, you can drive air brakes under 26K, but if you get a non-airbrake CDL, you cannot.

Think that is the way it is in Ohio. Dropped my Class B with hasmat and tanker but no air 8 years ago.

Because most can understand the juice brakes but cannot understand the air, they completely confuse me. Did drive what was called air over hydrolic a few times so boss thought I would be legal. Was considering adding air to my licence but decided I did not want the problems did not then when I hit 62 dropped the cdl 8 years ago.
