Looking for some help on a tc33 new Holland tractor. Was running fine one day & the next it wouldn't start. all the dash lights come on but will not crank, click or anything. It act like when you try to start it in gear. You have to start it in netural. I've by past the netural safety switch, tapped the starter, changed the battery, checked fuses with no luck. I would greatly appreciate it if any one could offer any assistance.
Thanks
James

A friend has a TC33 and it has had issue with the key switch, it has been replaced so many times that he caries a spare switch. Neither he nor the dealer have been able to find the cause of the switch failures.

Good Luck

Did you check to PTO lever? Is it off?
If its a hydro sometimes the mechanism will get grud in it and not allow it to be all the way in neutral.

I had a TC40 in the shop one time. Neutral safety switch was bad. On the left side near your foot, under the floorboard. Jumper the wires and see if that solves the problem.

Need to invest in a test light.

Have a helper hold the switch to start position,
see if you have power to the starter solenoid
exciter terminal. If power there, the problem is
in the solenoid/starter. If no power, trace the
wire back toward the switch. Whatever component is
not allowing the power to get to the starter is
the problem.

Be careful! The engine could crank at any time! Be
sure it's in neutral, stay clear of moving parts!
