Because most of the VA workers don't want to do their jobs.I set up an AO exam in January for June the 9th. Now they tell me they have no record of the appointment. Plus my medical records are also gone.

I saw where you had said this in a previous post, and I can relate. If there is any choice, I will never go to the Temple VA again. Every time I had to go there, it was some kind of nightmare. Nothing but problems, mixups, losing things, but what really got me was the attitude of the workers there from top to bottom. They could care less, and actually seem kind of proud of the fact. I had an MRI done there about three years ago, and I guess it is still missing. But losing your medical records, they kind of went the extra mile for you. Last summer I transferred back to the South Texas system (Audie Murphy-San Antonio) and dern glad to be back in it. You may be in a location where it isn't practical to transfer somewhere else, but for me, I would drive many a mile to keep from having to ever set foot in the Temple VA again.

I am thinking about trying to get in at Waco. Both sites over a hour to a half drive for me. Marlin has been shut down as for as I know. Temple is a joke.
Short story.
My father was in Scott White under Temple VA care.Doctor said his cancer was from. When he was in Nagasaki Harbor and his tug was on clean up detail. To clear the harbor. VA found out and sent a man to try and convince my father he was never there. Said his records didn't show his ship was there. Dad said he had a full set of records if they needed them. VA man got mad and left.

I understand about the drive. It is right at 100 miles to the Audie Murphy for me and even farther to Temple. So many of the clinics are at capacity and not even accepting any more patients, so I was told. The New Braunsfels citizen based clinic (which would be the closest for me, about 50 miles or so) , has about a three month waiting time to get an appointment so I won't go there. I have known several people in my family who absolutely would not use the Va, but they had other options, which I don't. I will use the VA as long as I can.
I have heard similar stories such as your Father's. It is a shame the extent they will go to. I don't know how some people can go to sleep at night. I hope you can get in at Waco, and it turns out to be better. Good luck. On a side note, my Grandfather (WW1 vet) used Temple until he passed away, and evidently it was a great place back in the 50's and 60's. My dad (WW2) wouldn't go anywhere but Kerrville, and absolutely hated the Audie Murphy when he had to go there.
