I worked on the garden and other things most of the day, but got about an hour in on the MH44 tuning.
The fuel tables are a two dimensional array with RPM on the x axis and load % on the Y axis. It was idling good but stumbling real bad under load. I opened up the top end quite a bit and it runs a lot better.
I added a push button hooked to the injector, so give it a quick squirt when starting cold. There is a table that enriches the mixture while it is warming up.
I am really missing having a dyno, and am at the point of having someone ride with me and look at the readings while I use it. The tractor runs best at 12.8 AFR, 14.7 is ideal, and it starts missing if I bring it up. I am thinking about turning autotune on with a setting of 12.8, and see how it runs.
