Watching the CBS6 Albany. See that a twister rolled two semis on I88 and caused severe damage on US Rt 20 closeing it. Ironic,, the pres. was here in Cooperstown at the time, and Steve Lapoint meteroligist, CBS6 said that the storm was caused by a clash of warm air meeting cooler air. Our Gov. coulden't get there due to the severe weather. The pics look like you had a lot of damage in your area.

Was it the hot air the pres emits meeting a cool reception that caused the storm?.......Hope all are safe......Sam
 
Sam, you are funny I was thinking the same thing! My wife works in Cooperstown and for her was just another day. She did take picture of the presidential limo on her way home. Cooperstown for seven months of the year is just another one traffic light town. His visit was to extoll the virtues of tourism! Big deal we need manufacturing and farms they just don't get it. Greg
 
I got a warning from a good friend in the west in Berne, "battened down the hatch's' but it missed us, for him to call me, it had to be bad, hopefully everyone is ok out that way.
