the price don't look too bad for around here. i would want to turn it into a 4 wheel wide. is that possible or feasible ? or should i just wait till one i want comes along ?

Thats sounds cheap. I would bite on it of it
seems good. The tires look good, Its an easy fix
to put a narrow front on it. The pedestal should be
cheap.

im not sure you understand. it's a 3 wheel now, i want it to be a 4 wheel. is it worth trying to change it over, yes, no ?

From the looks of it its a stage I which isn't bad just no live
hydraulics. It shouldn't be hard to put either the double tricycle or
a wide front under it. The tractor looks nice and that isn't a bad
price at all. Maybe get some more pictures and post them but
thats what I paid for mine 3 years ago and it was in great
mechanical shape just looked ugly. Heres a now and then.

You could probably trade the single front for a dual wheel to some collector.Dual wheel front wheels don't cost much,a lot of them junked.

Do you want the narrow 4 wheel or the wide front? The wide front
will cost some money and finding them can be difficult. There are
3 fronts for these tractors. The one you have which is a single
front wheel, The type I showed in my picture which is also a
narrow front but has 2 front tires, and the wide front that has front
wheels attached to an axle that are as wide as the rear wheels.

That's a decent price.SMs are excelent
tractors.VERY versatile and 'adaptable'.Yes,you can
install any front on you wish, just a few bolts.I've
owned my Super M for over 30 years,it will never
leave. They will probably bury it with me.Its done
literally every type of tractor work on my farm.Just
today,Ive been planting corn with it.Done 70A this
year,5 more to be done! You've seen the pics here on
YT.......Go for it!!!

Back to the original question though. That is a great deal on the
tractor. You wont find them much cheaper then that. And it will
work fine on the front you have there. You can find a wide front for
them just be ready to pay about 500 for just the axel for it and
more cause you'll need 2 tires and rims. Some are cheaper. But you
can't pass up the deal.

Woah that is a very rare set up here in South Jersey. I would leave well enough alone. Take it to a show and see what folks say . That tractor is too pretty to mess with.

If Stage I make sure the belly pump is there and works. I can't see the hydraulic outlets on the side shown. If they work, and it runs as good as it looks it is a good buy. Jim

If you decide to buy it you can get real god money for that single front. The M pullers go crazy for those. Why don't you want narrow front?
