we're going to get in trouble

If we keep all these political posts coming. I personally don't care since I like to hear peoples viewpoints, whether or not I agree with them. That being said its getting a bit carried away on being compared to the spirit of the forum.

Well I didn't think I said anything political with my coments about the lakes around here. I just pointed out the facts from the last 20 years.
I didn't stay up long after I made my post, so I guess I missed the fireworks.

We've got a bunch of barn cats. I'm not a hard core cat lover, but I tolerate them, and they only cost me a bag of cheap feed every couple of weeks. Anybody that shows up is welcome, but when I hear a bunch of screeching and squalling out there, I wade in and have an indiscriminate cat killing. Things always get real quiet for a few months afterward.

That's exactly how I'd handle things here if I was the administrator of this site. Discuss anything, but when the hatred and name calling starts, you're history. I honestly don't know how they put up with us.

I'm with you. I enjoy reading post on all topics, tractor related or not. It just seems odd to me that someone might post a JD post on tractor talk instead of the JD forum. A farming question might should be put under the using your tractor forum. And so on, but yep, they end up on the tractor talk forum. Why I don't know. Maybe because tractor talk is the most active and at the top of the forum list is all I can think of. Maybe if they were put in the right forum, the other forums would be more active. And yes, post are posted completely way off topic, that don't even relate to tractors or farming or anything even close.
