We had a 93 Toyota Previa van, hauled kids all over in High school years. Had it for 10 years 230,000 miles only normal wear and tear repairs like brakes. Still ran great but tranny finally gave up, since it was all wheel drive tranny repair was 4k we decided not to repair which may have been the wrong decision bought an american van, nothing but trouble, poor gas mileage, we have a Toyota again. And I like to buy US but can't argue with success.

Gee we just traded the wife's farm Suburban. It's pulled livestock trailers, hay wagons and implements. Hauled a lot of bagged feed with it too. One wheel bearing, one starter, one alternator, one fuel pump, one pitman arm and the transmission at 258,000. Mileage at trade was 313,000 and it ran and drove. Last car we had was a LTD Crown Vic, had 245,000 at trade and it ran and drove. So I'm not too impressed with that Toyota van.

Get your ducks in a row before spouting off. My 2012 Silverado was assembled in the U.S.A., with 98% U.S.A. built content.

One of how many? The fact is that Government bailout Motors has been moving production out of the US for years while paying its executives increasing salaries for continued failure.
