Just bought my 11th tractor today. Picked up a nice running Case 4oo diesel with a wide front at a sale for $800. Did I do alright?

I think so. We had a 700 gas. Man did we put the hours on that thing. Never had any real problems with it. Overhauled the engine at about 8000 hours and then put 6000 more on it before it got sold on the auction. My nephew has it to this day and it still runs as good as new.

Sounds like you did good. I worked for a guy that had one, and it was a good tractor. If I remember right, it had an eight speed triple h pattern transmission that took a little getting used to
