OT Shipping Tires from the drivers side

When I drove for Fed Ex Home Delivery, I had 3 LARGE truck tires going to a fellow. 3 ONLY! SO, I get to his house and he goes BALLISTIC on me-where is my 4th one? (I had thought the same thing, but can only deliver what is on the truck!) I suggested that the semi was probably full today, and that the 4th one would probably be there tomorrow! He was NOT buying it! Sure enough, next day I had one tire for him. He did not even show his face! Tires can be a real challenge!

What did the freight bill say, 3 or 4 tires?
You were either 1 short or they shipped at 2 different times or locations.

Fed Ex Home is different! I had 3 'packages' going to his address! I suggested he go on his suppliers tracking number-all I had was that he was getting 3 that first day!

I recently had a set of four tires shipped to me by UPS.

The tires were taped together in pairs. One shipment of two packages.

Pretty common for freight items to get separated during shipment.. I have seen it a lot, 12 big boxes of plastic ordered, 10 or 11 arrive.. Usually the rest come on another truck, but you better count carefully before signing..
