OT - Great attitude!

One of my long time computer customers stopped by to pick up
his laptop this evening and I asked him how he was doing.
He had several complaints, from health to television programming.
Then said "but I'm still here to complain about it all, so it's a good day."
He's a retired dairy and cash crop/row crop farmer.
Maybe the attitude is required. Maybe it's acquired.
Either way, it made me chuckle.

That's one of the things that I didn't like when we lived in a retirement community. Complaining was a way of life for a majority of people; guess they didn't have much of anything else to do.

We moved out of there to a community of all ages.

A few years ago, I ran into a friend that wintered in Florida and had just returned. I asked how he was doing. His reply- "I am not breathing dirt and I can see the sun come up each day. I am doing pretty good I guess." Then he proceeded to tell me had health problems when in Florida and doctors found advanced prostate cancer and gave him only maybe 2 months to live. After that, I guess I don't have any problems after all.

heard someone once say as long as i am sleeping on top of the grass its all good, hmmmm guess he was right

I agree with Dick2, we visited a Sister and BIL at a resort in Florida, just for Senior citizens. I told them that I couldn't live there because there wasn't any kids around.

When asked how he was doing, my dad would sometimes say, "I'm fine. I've got a strong constitution and low expectations. I'm always fine."

Royse, Just what I need, a computer guy. When I opened my lap top a few minutes ago there was a little screw on the keyboard. It came out of the lower left screen corner. I put it back in loosely but it has no slot or any means to apply a screw driver. It looks like there may be some thread locker on it. How do I tighten it?

That screw looking thing is probably just a plug to make the actual screw hole less noticeable. It was probably glued it with some light weight adhesive (you may need to remove it some time for a repair).

Ha Ha HA!!! I'm a 65 year old tractor guy and I can't tell the difference between a screw and plug???? Ha Ha Ha!!!

If there's no place for any kind of screwdriver then you really don't want it too tight.
Sometimes they're filled with rubber, some take special tools, etc.
As a stop gap you can use the eraser on the end of a pencil like a screwdriver.
It should hold enough tension to snug it up.
Needless to say they are easy to cross thread.
