Buckley swap meet

Anyone go there.

What kind of stuff do normally have??

At the show I see more flea market stuff than tractor stuff
 
I haven't been there in quite a few years now. Everybody says it just a lot of new Chinese garbage anymore. If you're looking for parts,it seems like most of the parts suppliers go to Oakley that weekend.
 
I don't want to run down anyone's show but I tried Buckley one August. For reasons I have never quite understood, they always have the same weekend as Oakley. I could see the attraction at Buckley, but it was not for me. I like more tractors and Oakley delivers that. Buckley had a better engine display and I enjoyed that quite a bit. The rest was not for me. Oakley is on flat land too and August in Michigan I don't want to walk up any hills. Just a preference really.
 
I went to the swap one year and all that was there
were 3 sellers. Never went again. If you want to to
to one in Aug go to Walloon lake. When you leave
one leg will be longer than the other as it is all
on a hill side. Great show
 
Went to Burley Park a few years ago, just another high priced flea market as far as I could see.

Been there a few times but it was not tractor related enough for me, mostly run of the mill flea junk

RRlund, Do you know a Jim L that used to be over by Ravenna years back, I think he was from your area.

Me too, that is why I always go to Oakley. If the stars line up as they do every few years then I may go to Buckley also but never miss Oakley.
