What are they worth these days?

Here are 2 winchester 94 - 32 specials. One is a 1949 and the other is a 1950. I picked them up from the son of a deceased husband and wife hunting team here in Pa. I also got a SA Farmall too. Both are decent and were never drilled for scopes.
Any idea on values?

Find you a good gun dealer that can appraise them for you or find a new issue of Gun Digest and they will give you a good ballpark figure,

According to my reference material, between $600 and $800 apiece. That is not carved in stone, of course.

I picked one up looked mint last year for $175. I thought it should be worth more or I wouldn't have bought it.

Condition is hard to say from the pictures. Good solid but not real pretty pre-64s seem to actually sell in $250-400 range. Lots of folks ask more, but don't sell them.

My wife's dad and my dad both owned those rifles. My wife's nephew still has her dad's rifle. He hunted deer in Perry county PA using that rifle. I think I still have one of the old bullets. Hal

I sold my 1957 Model 94 30-30 about 20 years ago for $400. It had only fired 20 rounds when I sold it. Included a saddle scabbard and 2 boxes of ammunition.

Sold it to a collector at work; it went right into his gun safe and is probably still there.

Hoping not to get this poofed, my suggestion, try either "gunsamerica." or "gunsinternational" and search for one to get a pretty good idea of value besed upon a wide range of conditions, which you will find there. For whatever reason, .32 caliber rifles fetch higher prices. I don't have an answer for that.

I was at a farm auction, bidding on a Model 94 .30-30 in real good shape and dropped out of the bidding at $1,000. It went for $1,500. I have two Model 94's and one Model 1894 AE, all .30-30 though.

Good luck.

Be careful with dealers. MANY of them will WAY under price it and then want to buy it from you. Have seen it several times. I had told one of these idiots I knowto get several prices. You got it pookie, this idiot went for the first price at his FRIEND of a gun dealer who turnned around and sold it for THREE times the price to a collector. Now just because it could be worth a lot of money...what you think may be way over or way under value. Get SEVERAL opinions. Jeffcat

If you use a dealer you tell them you want them apraised so you know what to insure them at. Never tell them you want to sell them.
