saga of ouir storm damage

finally got caught up after the storm. We didn't get much damage. Lost power for many days. The damage in the 2 mikes was wicked. the farm right to the west lost the roof from the east side of his barn. the next place lost roof on west side of his barn. place to east has a 3 car shed the wind took roof, in its entirety, lifted it flipped it layed it on the house roof and tree top near by. trailer park has a few trailers with roofs being peeled up. lots of trees snapped. couple travel trailers tipped. one trailers frame sits where the owner put it. the body of the trailer is still missing.my cost was many disappointing digs from my wife and a generac 5500 for a little over retail. still got sheet metal every where. but all is good. don't care to do it again anytime soon.

After a hurricane I went to Florida to help brother clean up a trailer park. Additions attached to trailers were on top of neighbors trailer. Cheap metal sheds and carports went flying damaging property.

Different building codes were put in to placce to prevent people from doing stupid things like the room additions were anchored with 1/4 inch steel rusted off bolt.

I heard there where 10 barns blown over in your area and even a couple old silos. Wind sure did blow alot of tin off of buildings around me but we didn't have any damage other than some trees down on the power lines.

We had power out for a while, but no real wind damage right here. There was a tree on a car about three miles west, but that was the worst I saw personally.
