No duplicates for me. Closest I can come to duplicates is 2 Farmalls - 1 Farmall h and 1 Farmall M.
My other 4 tractors are a mixture of brands. None of the 6 repeat anything Dad, uncle, or grandpas owned many moons ago either like I would have operated in my youth.

I might not qualify for this post, as I don't have any duplicate models, but I do brands. I have three Olivers, three John Deeres, three Twin Cities, and five Molines. A Cockshutt, Allis Chalmers, and a Case.

9 88/super 88 olivers have graced this place over the years. Still are 2 left as well as 2 "projects" that are waiting for enough money and ambition to happen at the same time. ;~)

Two Oliver 77s,three if you want to include a Super 77 in there. Three Super 55s. A lot of other tractors including several real similar like the Oliver 1550 and 1600 gassers that I have, but no others that were actual duplicates.

I like the Ford 7610 platform and try real hard to keep my 'work string' something similar. Right now on the farm

2- 7600's
1- 7610 with cab and loader
1- 7610 orchard
1- 7610 cab loader and 4 wd
1- TB 110 which is based on the same platform
1- 5600, the no turbo little brother.

Keeping like tractors makes keeping more parts on hand worthwhile. It was nice when I bought the 7610 4wd this winter with a bad alternator to pull one already made up and ready to go off the shelf. I try to keep clutches, starters, alternators, water pumps, etc ready to 'plug and play'.

2-JD B's here, I was always a fan of the A's since I spent a lot of time raking hay with one. For some reason I bought a B on a whim and then had to have another!! For some reason when Im looking through the sale adds now I gravitate towards B's so who knows I'll probably have more!!

I have done the same as you Delta . Had a 63 gas that was not fit to lone to the neighbor . Now I have a 706 with a 310 in it , they made a tractor out of the 706 when they put that engine in it . It will never leave as long as I am here . Never had 2 of the same tractors at one time but a few I wish I had back .

seems when you are looking for one particular model,

a different more common model keeps popping up at a price that can't be turned down.......

So, I've had lots of doubles.

At the moment,

3 Ford NAA's

4 Farmall SC's

2 AC B's

most times I get a parts tractor for some model I have or buy junk to get the tires, and just

can't bring myself to part it. Or just the challenge to get it unstuck and running first......

works out though, I don't have to change implements much.

Farmall F20 and or Regular, Who knows? I'm sure I've junked out 50. Sorry guys but you wanted the pieces to fix yours. I think I have 3 restored 20s now, maybe half a dozen out in the trees that would run. Farmall Hs are about the same story. I think the current inventory is 5, all runners. But then, I maintain 2 homes. I have at least two of EVERYTHING! LOL. That's what happens when you don't have a wife to to tell you "No Honey"

I really like tractors of certain models and my favorites are 69/72 20 series tractors 2520 to 4320s which I have had over 200 of.The only thing I like better than buying them is selling them .I also have a soft spot for the 1206 IH of which I have had 14.I had one new in 1965 and it didn't shift the greatest and started slow but is still the sharpest tractor made. Now for some reason I seem to be buying 1456s.Uncurable disease is what my therapist calls it.[Not Really]Cheaper than divorce.

I've got some "doubles"

2 Farmall C's one widefront the other a narrow

2 460 Diesels. I didn't need the 2nd one until I saw the price, then I definitely needed it. Turns out it is kinda nice having 2 of the same, these tractors get used on the haybine, v rake and small square baler. They sure run cheap. I also have a 400 Farmall gas.

2 "7's" a 706 Gasser and a 756 Diesel. These get used mostly on the round baler.

I've also got 2 New Holland square balers, a 270 and a 276.

2 New Holland hsybines, a 479 and a 489.

I just traded in my 2 similiar trucks for a new one, they were a 2003 Crew Cab Chevy and a 2007 Crew Cab, both pretty similiar. the 2003 was a 1500HD, the 2007 was a regular 1/2 ton.

Not sure why I end up with the doubles, I'm ok with it though, kinda neat I guess.

By your post title I thought you were asking how many "Same" (foreign brand) tractors were made. Then I read your post! I"m on my second D17, but in hobby tractors my multiples are: 4 WD, 2 WD45 (missed a cheapie last week), 2 RC, 3 WC. The other 6 are singles.

Read the title and thought he was going to ask about Same branded tractors.

Started reading his post and thought he was talkin about liking his wife. The Ms.

Oh boy, I need to go to bed......

We owned 2 Ford 960s at th same time.

Dad owned 1/2 of an F20, an H and a 300 all at the same time, same tractor just newer models. (The F20 had a mounted picker on it, was shared with his brother.)

That was funny reading the first time, until I got it sorted out. ;)

I hear you on one being enough. Happy with my vintage model.

Paul, my thoughts went exactly the same as yours. I have among others a 960 and two 901s.

I bought a M in 2002 it had a 9 speed and a trip bucket loader, sold it in 2007 to help finance my 706 which I really needed for loader work. After selling it I wished I hadn't, but I bought another M in 2012 for half what I sold the other for, it is now dedicated to running the brush mower until I find another piece of equipment I must have.

No doubles at the moment, but have had some in the past.... 2 Farmall H's, 2 D-14 Allis Chalmers, 2 M John Deeres, 6 B John Deeres, those are the multiples I can think of at the moment.

Knew a guy just a couple years ago who had over 30 Ford 6000's.... Some were parts tractors but most ran. He'd leave them in the fields and just bring the equipment to them with his truck. One broke down and he'd go get another, sometimes leaving the other one there for a few years before he got around to bringing it home to fix it.

Seemed to work for him

At one time I owned 3 1086"s.

Bought the first new in 78. Bought my uncles 81 1086 with 1400 hours in 1995.

Then when dad died in 99 I bought a 1086 with MFD to replace the 986 of dads that we sold to settle things.

Thought I would buy the 986 but it brought more at the auction than I wanted to pay.

I have 2 560"s now. Bought a diesel to replace the gasser that I am going to sell. Dad had 2 different 560"s in the 60"s.
