Got the old Monkey Wards 5HP hand tiller started last night with about 10 minutes of tinkering and between last night and this morning got the garden ready. Potatoes and onions just went in. Now let's hope it doesn't snow!

I tell ya, the ground was definitely hard though. Been a rough winter.

Nice looking victory garden patch, Hope you have a
good season. We just started picking sugar snap peas
Where in North Florida so you can grow something
most of the year.

Will, Where are you located ?

Here in SW Ohio I don't think our ground would work up that nice today. Beside, the other Condo residents probably would holler if I tore up some "common" yard to raise a garden.

Nice looking large yard with excellent soil. I must kid you a bit and suggest you put all that in Soybeans ! No grass to mow and nice return on the crop. Neighbors might holler about dust when you combine them however. ☺

Take care, Bill

Central IL. We've actually had this garden in for about... 15 to 20 years now, and no complaints. Even though it is in our back yard in town. A few of the neighbors have gardens and stuff too, but none of them are as large (or consistently done every year) as ours it seems. Oh yeah, we love the dirt. I'd love to turn more of it into a garden as it'd be less to mow!
