Last evening I went to a local town of about 60,000 people to stop at a farm store, then get some groceries. Now quite ready to go home, I stoped at a local night spot. I got into a conversation with a guy from out of our area. A man in his late 20's. He was from Atlanta. He was a representative for a software company and was up here breaking in people at the local hospital to the new software that his company had just sold them. When he learned I was a farmer he said "I have to know, what disease do your trees have up here?". I said "tree disease?". He said " yes, on my time off I like to drive around and I see a lot of trees with a big blue I.V. bag hung on them and I was wondering what disease you are treating them for". I wish I was as fast of a thinker as I was in my younger years, I could have laid a real whopper on him.
