Is there a company that sells reliable CUT's for under 10,000 me and my dad think it would be nice to have one to know the yard with and a loader and hitch. But we can't spend a whole lot of money was wonder if any of you guys new of a company that sold some for cheaper thanks

Nick

You will not find a new FWA CUT with FEL and MMM for less than $10K.

That said, you will be able to find decent used ones as described above within your price range.

Used is the answer you seek. Farther from a Compact, the more toy it will be. Knowing your yard will be more difficult with a sub. Jim

Nick:

For that kind of money it's going to be "used".

I lucked out & got mine from a friend, 1975 Yanmar Diesel MFWD with FEL, 3 speed PTO, 3 point Hitch with Box Scraper, ROPS, in EXCELLENT condition with only 510 ORIGINAL HOURS - for $5500. . Yes, it did need a few minor upgrades - new fuse panel instead of the old "strip" fuses, Turf Tires & Rims instead of the "Rice" Tires, etc.

They're out there, just keep looking - and GOOD LUCK!

You'd be further along find something like an Oliver 550 or Case 430 with a loader than trying to find a used CUT in good shape for cheap. Yes, grey market tractors are around in the $5-10K range, but what are you going to have. I'd rather spend $3-5K on a decent small farm tractor with loader myself. Most of the used CUT's I've seen with loaders have been beat to death trying to do things way out of their league.

Maybe some Ying Ding Chinese clone.

Check the local auctions, estate sales, buy sell advertisements . There are always 2-20 year old low hour rural estate or horse farm tractors.
Somebody retires to a country estate and purchases a new CUT with loader, snowblower and etc. 2-15 years later they are either dead, crippled up, broke of sick .or tired of living out in the woods away from town.

new will have tier 4 emissions today too...not for me
finding a used CUT is tough.
You have to move fast on the good deals.
With a used CUT, I'm more interested in the owners place than the tractor when looking.
nice manicured lawns and landscaping? good, probably used to carry mulch around and as a status symbol.
Worked dirt and other equipment and an owner with as many callouses as me? pass.... probably overworked.

Like the other guys said, if I had that much money,
I would look for a good older, 'real' steel and castiron tractor.
(pick your fav brand)
3-point hitch, and I would buy TWO, one with a loader and one without......and still have money left over

Another option that you might want to investigate is the Chinese made NorTrac sold by Northern Tool.

These are considerably less expensive than any of the more well known brands.

Northern Tool does provide parts support but one must question how long they will do so.

Yes, one small farm or utility tractor with a loader, and a small tractor with a mower. Shouldn't be too difficult to do for less than the $10K the OP mentioned.
