finally got power steering cylinder off

I finally got my power steering cylinder off of my case 530 I had to take a snap ring off of the pisron inside the cylinder thanks everyone for the help. I had to order the seals they will come in Wednesday or thursday

lol ,, like stuffin$hitback in a horse LOL ,,/ honestly puttin the snap ring back on aint no worse than getting it off ,,. simply reverse procedure ,, YOU ARE PUSHING RING INTO DEPRESSION ON THE RAM AND RETRACTIN TOGETHER ,, RITE ?

to reassemble the ring should be on the ram in the depression valley ,, when inserted you simply pry thru the fitting hole with a screwdriver the spring ring into its proper seating ,,. perhaps it is not possible to do this job no other way ,, been yrs since I done one ,, but I recall also being confused ,, til I figured it out ..
