14.9 x 28 rear tire alternatives

My 14.9 x 28 rear Ag. tires off a Ford 2810 need replacement.
They are 6 ply on 13" rims.

What are any alternative tire size choices that would work ?

Tractor is used for light - medium chores but not many hours per year.

13.6-28 and 15.5-28 should fit your rims, but unless
you find a used set, threre all about the same price, so
for new, the best is to just buy 14.9-28's.
Ive never bought from there, but some one here
posted the link below, and for new they seam to be a
good competitor to Miller, esspecialy if you live in the
west, as they have a warehouse in Nevada.

That is the correct size for your rim. It's OK to go
up or down 1 size, unless you're running near the
maximum allowable load for the tires. So 13.6x28 or
16.9x28 should work.

I just posted a set of decent 13.6 X 28 on
creigslist on MF 8 bolt adjustable wheels (Loaded)

Don"t know how far from pitts ya are

Assuming it's a 2wd tractor either a 13.6-28 or 16.9-28 would work. If it's a MFWD, stay with the 14.9-28 or you'll bugger up the drive ratios.

I bought a new 14.9x26 BKT 8ply rear tractor tire last fall for my 1550 Oliver for $360 and $22 for an American made tube. It had one new one on it and the other was bad so I bought another new one to match it and 2 new front tires, So now it has all new rubber! First time this ever happened in my life. First pic old tire 2 is the new one. Bandit

I thought I had it figured out, 11.2, 12.4 13.6, 14.9, 15.5, for both 38 and 28 inch centers. But, seeing how miller only has the 38"s in 15.5 I see I"m wrong.

Hey Roy I'm a little ways from Pittsburgh but I might be interested in those tires if I knew the details. My Email should be open. Thanks!
