The new barn is ready to move in--pics

My brother will be moving the cows into his new barn probably Tuesday after the fence builder puts up the cow lane fence between the old and new barns. The cows will eat and sleep in the new barn and shuttle over to the old one for milking until the parlor is done in a week or two. This will help the cows adjust to the new environment and save a lot of labor in taking care of them. Enjoy the pictures as you will never see the barn this clean again. Located in western PA.

Took the words right out of my mouth when you said it'll never be that clean again. We poured some new concrete last fall. I told the driver that after about Saturday nobody would ever see it again anyway.

Looking good.I am sure he will be happy when the new parlor is up and running.

Wish him all the very best from me! That is quite a venture for him....and his cows , I bet if it is anything like when we moved from a tie stall to free stall in 1970 the cows will all try to go to their original places and then find out it is not the same building and let fly with the dung spreader!!!!!! What a way to christen a new building!.........

Very nice - I wish we could build that light around here. They would make us get an engineered
report for that building for sure.

Sure looks nice! I bet he will be glad when everything gets up and running. I would like to see some milk house pics too.

Feels like I have been on the job while this facility has been under constructon. Thanks for the pictures and taking time to keep us informed. Dairying is almost non-existant in Arkansas now. Be safe
