here is a rare shot,i got in the email today, and either the camera person has a good lens, or a set big enough to come in a dump truck, this full grown cougar has his supper zoned in, and is about to go get it, and hes in town, in a high end subdivision notice the houses, "dont walk fifi" at night around our county

thats the big problem, people have fed these area deer untill there as tame as dogs, sometimes you can walk right up to them, if they dont have fawns on them, they dont have their natural fear, the last 10 years or so the big cats have picked up on this too

We took away the predators' natural habitat and replaced it with ours. Now, the predators are adapting to ours.

And after we cut down their habitat and moved in with them we quit doing anything to make sure they have a healthy fear of us.

There was a week over here in N. E. Buckeye that while walking the dog at night i was with company . Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson were with me . The cat was seen crossing the main hy way just about a half mile west of our walking route . One of my farmer friends saw it first had late one evening while he was burning trash . He told me that it sat down and watched him while he was throwing stuff on the fire. when he burns trqash his fire can be seen from outer space . So this may be the reason the big cat did not come nearer then it did . He told me that it just sat and watched for twenty min. or so then just walked off to the N.E. He took me out to the field north of the burn pile and in the dirt- mud you could see the paw prints , A whole lot bigger them my hand . The last sighting of it was about ten miles from me . some woman was going to her garage to get her car out and saw it walking down the alley . since then we have not heard anymore about it.

There was a cat tagged, I think in the black hills, that was run over by a car in Connecticut or Massachusetts.
