You struggle and save during your productive years so you can afford to retire. You rejoice in the fact that you can afford to buy anything that you want to eat - - and then your doctor says that you can't eat that stuff anymore!

Kinda like when I was a kid and said when I grew up,I'd buy whole bags of candy. My blood sugar wouldn't let me eat much of it if I did.

This. I love candy. Type 2 diabetic, controlled mainly thru diet. Really sucks, but better than being on insulin or worse...

I think that what my wife and the news has been telling me may be true. I think that my craving for high sugar corn syrup sweets is fading by substituting other sugars.

My Dr says just count the carbs and take your insulin. The pump is better than shots but you can go back for seconds and pump in to cover that. When I was on shots, you lived your life around them. Fruit is the best way to lose weight and get away from cravings.
