I took some cans into the local recycling center yesterday,i seen some bags full of caseings,guy said they sell them in bags of 500 for reloading.he showed me pallets with a big box 4x4,3ft tall completely full of them,i mean overflowing full,probably 4 pallets full,must be million of them.place is "six recycling/ in east Liverpool,ohio.i see on here guys are looking for this type of stuff,thought this might help out...
 
Used reloadable brass. Needs to be clean, relatively undamaged, sorted by caliber. Yes, there is a market for reloadable brass. Most expensive part of a cartridge. Must be your recycler has a in with some shooting ranges. Have gotten some brass from those places, and it was a mess.
 
I see it on the gov.liquidation site fairly regularly. Maybe somebody got a deal on some and sold it to a recycler? There is some coming up next month in Michigan, everything from 9 millimeter to over 77000 pounds of 50 cal.!
 
Our local recycle yards won't take spent brass. They say it is hazardous material due to lead and powder residue.
